Question Pentastar Oil filter

Can someone who has picked one of these up from the dealer, tell me what you paid for one? I am looking at some on ebay.

Part number 68079744AA.

Also, has anyone seen any aftermarket pentastar filters yet? What's the general consensus on the quality of the Mopar filter?

I'm getting the parts together to do a full syn oil change.

Thanks!
NB

Purolator is bringing out an aftermarket filter for the thing, but it isn't out yet (part number will be L36135).

For now I think we're stuck with the Mopar filter, but I don't know why it wouldn't be decent quality.

Re: Pentastar Oil filter

At a Canadian dealer the cost was $15 for one filter including all taxes. No doubt way too much, but that's dealers for you. On the day I was dropping $50k Cdn on a new vehicle why quibble?

But here are two online links with much better prices (sometimes sold in 3-packs):

Re: Pentastar Oil filter

MSRP is $7.75 for part number 68079744AA.

MoparOnlineParts.com has it for $6.20 plus shipping.
