Re: Plastidip

Just used plastidip for the first time today. I wanted to start with something small so I did my jeep emblem on the hood. Used 4 coats of black and 2 coats of gloss. It was so hot here in phoenix that they dried in less than 10 mins but overall I like how it looks and is my first step to changing over all the chrome.ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1405631091.517107.jpg

Yea I want to do all the chrome accents black. I have to get a new grille and front bumper do to an accident with a bird but I want to see if I could put in the 2012 SRT front end but I'm not sure if it would fit with my Laredo.

I think I saw that someone did do it but it wasn't just a simple swap. There was a lot of work involved.
