Rear Wiper Replacement

This might be a n00b question, but how do you remove the rear wiper blade for replacement?

I always change the blades for winter and removing the rear blade from my WJ & WK was a snap, but the WK2 has me puzzled.

Thanks in advance :-)

Ken

The cover at the swivel point pops up on a hinge, then the wiper can be raised off the glass. You then pull out on the inside part of the wiper and it will unsnap from the arm. It is basically a tension 'C' fitting which is also the hinge point.

BTW - Sliblade makes an exact replacement that also has the molded shell shape to it. RB112-A is the part number. I have had Silades last for years without streaking or breaking down.

Re: Rear Wiper Replacement

I'm not familiar with that brand blade. Would you also suggest it for windshield replacements?

Re: Rear Wiper Replacement

I took the advice and ordered a set of the Silblade wipers. They cost a few $$ more but I feel they're worth it. I'm going into my second winter here in WI with the Silblades and they still work as good as they did when I first installed them. I put a set on my better-half's Prius as well with the same end result.

I bought them from Amazon so shipping was free as well.

Re: Rear Wiper Replacement

Would this be the right set to replace all 3? I have a 2011 Overland.
