My 2011 Laredo X can do it. Push the unlock button twice and hold.

Re: Remote key fob window operation

Same applies for the 300. I had a 2011 300 and this function worked. Chrysler did away with it on all my12 vehicles. Sad but true

That's correct - there are several prior posts out here from when fellow members purchased their 2012 JGC's. and wondered why this feature wasn't available. Only works on 2011's.

Re: Remote key fob window operation

I can't seem to make it work on my 2011 Laredo E no matter how many times I try. I wonder if they reflashed the car and disabled it.

I was able to make the flipper glass work by moving a contact though....

Re: Remote key fob window operation

I just got a 2011 Laredo X a few weeks ago. I can roll the window down with the remote?

Re: Remote key fob window operation

You should be able to roll the front windows down on a 2011 Laredo X. Check page 8 in your user guide, listed under "Express Window Feature".

Re: Remote key fob window operation

Push the unlock button on your remote twice and continue holding on the second push until the front windows roll to the position you desire. The further you are from the vehicle the harder it is to make this work. The remote start has a further range, don't know why. I have a 2011 Laredo X.

On my wifes VW CC I had to program her car through the ODB interface to enable controlling windows up or down. You can also enable the rain sensor for wipers to shut the windows. I love having these features.

I hate leaving windows shut on a blazing hot day at work. Sure would be nice to shut them automatically or with key fob.

I think it's a liability thing and they disable it in the USA.

I don't see why its a liability. Just penny pinching. Every German car the I've had does this. Not sure why you had to program the CC. I have to check if my mother's passat does it. She just got a new tdi.

On my Acura you could open the windows, including sunroof, with the key fob. You could only close them at the vehicle. All could be closed together with the key in the driver's door.

I guess it could be dangerous to close them remotely if some kid, maybe your own, climbed in the car and fell asleep.
