Remote start and Stop

How to perform a remote start is clear enough. Is is possible to also stop it if I want to. For example I changed my mind and might not be leaving as after all.

Just click the remote start button twice again i think. It does have a 15 minute maximum.

Makes sense when you think about it.

I'll give it a try.

Thanks

Re: Remote start and Stop

it worked. What's even better is the range on this bad boy. Two cinder block walls and 150 ft and it started and stopped.

Amazing range for a factory remote.

No more getting into a cold truck after hockey or work

Remote start and Stop

I just happen to shut mine down today while in remote start and it only took one hit of the "x2" button on the fob to shut her down.

I just discovered this by accident on the weekend. It was warming up and I hit the start button once by accident and it shut down.

What are the odds.

Thanks ants

Cheers

The only downside to this remote start is you have no real way of knowing it actually started (unless you can SEE your Jeep). Also, the range is not that good especially if you are say, downtown. I installed a CompuSTAR 2-way alarm/command start on my Xterra & you can start it with a 1 mile range! It shows on the LCD remote that your vehicle is running & has a count down timer. It was pricey ($1050 installed) but has worked perfectly for 3 years. I have contemplated getting this installed in my Jeep, but then I would have to carry 2 remotes around with me . . . kinda sucks!
