Re: Remote start climate settings?

Remote Start Comfort Systems — If Equipped
When remote start is activated, the heated steering
wheel, and driver heated seat features will automatically
turn on in cold weather. In warm weather, the driver
vented seat feature will automatically turn on when the
remote start is activated. These features will stay on
through the duration of remote start or until the ignition
switch is turned to the ON/RUN position.

The Remote Start Comfort System can be activated and
deactivated through the Electronic Vehicle Information
Center (EVIC)
. For more information on Remote Start
Comfort System operation refer to “Electronic Vehicle Information
Center (EVIC)/Customer-Programmable Features
(SETUP)” in “Understanding Your Instrument Panel”.

Re: Remote start climate settings?

I have remote start, but no heated steering wheel or seats - I saw somewhere that someone mentioned when they use remote start the heater will blast on high until a specific temp is reached, mine doesn't seem to do that. Is it only able to do this when you have the heated seats/wheel or the Auto Climate Control?

Of course the vehicle needs to "warmed up" in order to blow heated air out.
