Re: Removing brake calipers

I could swear when I took my tires off, I couldn't see the screw to remove the calipers. I just scratched my head for a few seconds and put the tire back on. Has anyone remove the calipers on the non hd brakes? Any hints?

Re: Removing brake calipers

It's very easy, if I can do it anyone can. Just a tip, watch the position of the retainer clip before you remove it so you know how to put it back. I used a flat head screwdriver.

Re: Removing brake calipers

Have any of you guys looked into brake caliper covers? I'm not sure the size needed, and for my '14 Laredo it doesn't look like there is much room between the calipers and the wheels. The first time I change my tires, I'm changing the wheels (maybe Overland wheels or something), so I'm hoping there is more room to add caliper covers. I painted my Mustang calipers, but it doesn't hold a candle to the look of actual caliper covers. Thoughts?
