I bought it, too! Specifically for inattentive drivers at redlights!
Edit: I bought the lock also.

I think I'll see that last pic in the next GC brochure.

Nice!

Can I ask what you paid for it?

I think its a great idea. They should make them for the front & sides as well,
that pop out when your in shopping malls.

Re: Rhino hitch step installed - pics!

Just ordered a chrome one for my white overland off ebay for $149 shipped. They were out of stock at the link cited above.

Thanks for a great idea.

Re: Rhino hitch step installed - pics!

If this is the Go Rhino step, you can usually snag them off of Amazon with free shipping at a decent price. Black was $94.04 when I just looked.

There seem to be three finishes:
360B Go Rhino Black Receiver Hitch Step
360C Go Rhino Chrome Receiver Hitch Step
360PS Go Rhino Stainless Steel Receiver Hitch Step

Re: Rhino hitch step installed - pics!

They need to come out with a simple complimentary bar of some sort for front end parallel parking protection as well, one that won't interfere with the adaptive cruise system. Steelcraft (www.steelcraftautomotive.com) has a nice bull bar w/ light mounts for the WK2, but it's a bit massive for my tastes and it does block the adaptive cruise. They do have some cool looking Sport Bars that might work, but they are not yet being made for the 2011-2012s.
