Salt in the carpet

Please advise the best way to get those annoying white lines from salt out of the black carpeting?

Re: Salt in the carpet

Folex -- can be bought at Home Depot. Some say hot water is also effective. Last year, I tried everything (3 different auto carpet cleaners, etc). The only thing that took it out 100% , was Folex. It's perfectly safe and orderless as well. You rub it in with your fingers (so it has to be safe).

X2 on the Folex, great stuff. You can also combine it with A Bissel green machine for deeper cleaning.

Re: Salt in the carpet

On the bottle it says instant carpet spot remover. It is a white spray bottle with purple writing. I have only found it in Home Depot and one time in Walmart, where they sell the vaccum cleaners.
