Select Terrain blank switch positions

I have a 2011 Limited with QT-II, so I don't have the air suspension.
I have been looking at places to put aux switches on my truck, mostly for lighting.

I usually wind up driving with my right arm sitting on the console, and those two blank positions are right under my fingers most of the time.

Has anyone ever taken that ST controller apart?

I'm wondering if I can retrofit two switches in those unused positions.

When it meets spec in the simplest most reliable way, STOP MESSING WITH IT!
