I had a nice little pool of water and snow on my floor mat when I got home so I figured I'd pull it out and dump it on the street. But when I got it out I noticed that the carpet underneath it was soaking wet.
I could have used a shop vac to get rid of it. In the end I used paper towel and a hair dryer.
I checked my Weathertech mat for a hole or something but it's perfect. I even brought it inside and put it in the tub poured water on it and checked it. No leak what so ever.
I've had lots of cars over the years and up here in snow country I expect a bit of water on the carpet but I was really surprised how much given the fact that I have really good mats. Is it possible that it's coming in from underneath? We've had a lot of melting snow that last few days.
It has to go back in for the Evap error code this Tue so I'll get them to put it on the hoist and have a look. Maybe there's a seal or a plug of some kind that's fallen out.
