I know what you mean, but really that's what makes it look so "rich". Kind of like a Jaguar or Bently type of mesh, verses the larger, faux chrome Summit grill. Additionally, the mesh is a "round" (not flat) design which in person, does add a bit of "depth" to the overall look of the grill.
I will say though, that because it is so small/tightly woven, that from a distance, like when the car is driving toward you, it almost looks black, and you can't even really make it out until it gets closer.
From close up however, it is really gorgeous and very classy looking. I'm hoping to wash the car this weekend (if the rain ever stops
) and will post up some better pictures as soon as I do.
