Re: Stainless Steel Mesh Grill Insert Install

I've been searching all over to see if anyone has availability on your part number Hollywood but no dice. Justforjeeps looks like they're out of stock. I'll call them tomorrow or shoot them an email.

I've got the upgrade bug no doubt. Thanks for your write up by the way. Great work.

Re: Stainless Steel Mesh Grill Insert Install

I emailed them and they said it's not currently available. Mopar is stating that it's discontinued as well. I informed Pete that you sent me over and also that you said hey. You're forever attached to this part with pictures of the wife's GC on justforjeeps.com.

So what do you think about fabricated this part yourself from the one you have and selling it to your best buds from JG?? I think that's a great idea personally.

Re: Stainless Steel Mesh Grill Insert Install

LOL. Wish I could help you out. Kind of surprised they sold out of this part. It wasn't an inexpensive piece, and I thought a lot of people would have balked. Not that it's not worth it. Very nice quality. Certainly head and shoulders above the "plastic" Summit Grill, which isn't really even "mesh".

HERE
For those who prefer the "All-Black" look, I installed the Ablaze metal powder coated upper grill insert this weekend when I installed HID fogs and moved my LED DRL's. I ordered it through American Truck N Auto ($132.00), I had previously sanded and painted the OEM Laredo X plastic chrome grill.

Re: Stainless Steel Mesh Grill Insert Install

I bought the grill mesh from Ablaze and can attest that they look the same as Hollywood's ride. Here's a picture:
