My last car had that front window down feature and i had mixed feelings about it. Was nice to cool off a car on a hot day but it could be activated mistakenly with keys in pocket. i once found the car with both windows down in the rain, i always keep my windows up so i know i had not left them down. At least when the panic button is activated accidently you hear about it lol. Then forward i always had am image of my windows being down with my keys in pocket. In the 10 years i had that car twice i found both windows down not so bad i guess but once was in the rain lol

My last car wasnt a jeep but yeah i know you are right it could have been worse. Not sure if the prevous jeep one worked the same way but on my lastcar all you did was hold down the unlock button and they went down not that hard to happen in pocket. Or maybe i just need looser fitting jeans

That's disappointing as my 2006 Jeep Commander did it as well as my 2011 Ram 1500. Wife's Town & Country does it as well. Wonder why they killed that feature on the 2014 & 2015 models? Fiat must not like it...

Chrysler killed the feature on all of their vehicles after model year 2011.5. They killed it mid production cycle. So some 2012s have it. Most don't. Apparently it was due to people accidentally rolling down the window somehow.

Re: Things you might not know about the WK2.........

My former '04 Acura TSX had the ability to open and close the windows with the key in the door. Great feature. Our '07 RDX did not.

I was pleasantly surprised today to learn that the rear glass opens on our '13 Trailhawk. One downside to buying from a non-jeep dealer is the lack of product knowledge.

Re: Things you might not know about the WK2.........

My 06 BMW had the window roll down which I really liked at the time. You had to double click and then hold the unlock so it was pretty hard to accidentally activate. I would be Ed about my GC not having it if I hadn't bought the remote start, but that feature is way better so it's all good.

Is it really someone else's fault?
FYI, I had no problem reading it, very clear to me.

Buying from a Jeep dealer has the same downside.

Hi all, long time troller, first time poster.

Found this one, I was excited to find it.

On the sat nav screen, touch the street name you are currently on.

This will now come up with the suburb you are in and then if you hit the GPS button it will tell you all the GPS's you are receiving info from and your Long Lat.

I didn't know of this function at all. Just the other day we were wondering what suburb we were in, no more wondering now.

The torch in the boot turns off automatically after about 5mins.

Was using it to see as I adjusted the park brake. Slightly frustrating.

Probably killed it because with the auto start and auto heated or cooled seats, it defeats the purpose of having the windows go down. You can start your car from anywhere in the world now to cool off or warm up. Getting your windows down 30 feet before you get in your car seems pointless now...
