Re: tips on how to keep a black jeep clean?

LOL. For some reason, when I owned a black car, birds used my car as target practice.

Just let the car revert to its natural state. You'll be so much less stressed out.

Lol. I have a 2012 black altitude and I am 50/50 on this. I want to keep it clean, but it's a jeep, it's supposed to get dirty!

Re: tips on how to keep a black jeep clean?

Recently bought and applied Blackfire Crystal Seal. It's a wipe on sealant and it is pretty awesome! I took the jeep offroading and had it covered in dirt and dust as well as some run ins with brush that I thought would leave some long scratches down the side.

I took the car to an automatic car wash and was expecting it to show scratches from the dirt and brush. To my surprise and excitement, not a scratch!

I have no affiliation with Blackfire, im just excited to have found a sealant that can be applied to the whole jeep in 10-15 minutes and seems to do a great job protecting the paint. Id recommend getting some sort of sealant on sooner than later to protect the paint while it is still scratch/swirl free.
