I just finished my tow hook install. I know this is old news and there are several very good threads with pics, but I thought a few comments were in order.
Raising the Quadralift to OR2 or using a pair of ramps will give you plenty of working space.
The instructions that came with my kit were not entirely accurate (showed only three quarter turn releases rather than seven on the air dam, for example), but they are close enough to get you through the job.
The front air dam is very light and flexible, and r&r was easy, just had to get a little aggressive with it coming off. Pulls straight forward from the grill assembly, remove from outside to the middle, replace from middle to outside. Check the corner tabs when replacing to make sure they are in place.
The plastic "skid plate" which needs to be removed had seven bolts and only one plastic fastener which was easily removed intact with a screwdriver and needle nose pliers.
Be sure to run the round nuts on and off the long bolts which hold the front bracket on several times to loosen then up. It's hard to hold the round nuts in place while screwing in the bolts
Bought my kit from Jeep Parts Mall for $130 plus S&H, I found their invoice in the box, showing they paid $115 (reasonable markup).
If you are hesitant about this being a DIY job, don't be, it took an old retired guy about 90 minutes to complete.
Many thanks to others who posted pictures and comments about the procedure - helped a bunch.
