The Mount is bent to be angle correctly and if you need to bend more you can for sure do so. I just got notice that it was shipped today.
It is just $32.00 and I will make sure it fits correctly. Not scare to modify it if needed. www.greatlakestrophies.com this is the link and just click on Corvette Mirror Mount.
I really wanted a solid mount for my V1 so I bought a bracket from Great Lakes Trophies & Engraving that was designed for the Corvette and modified it to fit the visor bracket in my Summit. A little work with the Dremel and it looks like this -
I also used a 12" Micro Version Invisicord with a built in fuse. It fits perfectly.

Picking up a 2012 wk2 overland and have a v1. Could someone help me out with a link to what I invisicord I need and where I need to wire it in the mirror? I assume the ground is the black one. Not very savvy with electrical wiring.
Pull out the mirror wire connector from the back. Tap in the inviscord. Takes a few tries, but works flawlessly once seated. Keep engine on to know when it's a secure connection. The green/pink is power. The black is ground.
The pins are very difficult to get seated, even if you are using the micro version. You need to take a set of needle nose pliers and push the pins in a bit at the time. I choked up on just the first third of each pin to get it started.
Only 1 gotcha with the mount that sticks to the back of the mirror. I had one on my Vette and after a while the heat from the sun made it fall off. They may have better adhesive now.
I had this install for month now and is not going anywhere. Actually the double sided tape is so good now that if you install it wrong you are done for good.
this write up was great, recieved my invisicord today, installed in about 5 minutes. I don't mind my V1 on the suction cups, they have held great going on 5 years in various vehicles.
Nope and if I wanted to take off it will have to be by destroying the mirror back for sure.
Here in Puerto Rico even with the humidity at 80% or more and temps of over 95 it has hold really well.
This thing is the best mount even.
Bumping an old thread. Great info here. Helped me find the Great Lakes bracket. Installed just now with my X50 and 8" Invisicord micro. The bracket needed about an inch trimmed off each side. Thanks guys!
Does that mount block you line of sight? The one thing that I'm not crazy about on the Overland is how big the mirror is and how it creates a blind spot, this mount seems like it would just make it that much worse. No?
Yes and no. Looking straight forward its not much of an issue but making a right turn at a corner I'm not familiar with I sometimes find myself looking under or around it. I don't find it much more of a inconvenience than it actually being mounted to the window on suction cups.
Yeah I have my redline mounted in my F250, but there is room to see around. In the WK2 I have a hard time looking around the mirror itself and wouldn't want to mount the radar 24/7.
