Re: Where are you installing your Ipass?

"Velcroed" to the BACK SIDE of the rear view mirror on the driver's side. I only use it about 3-4 days at a time whenever I visit my daughter in Chicago, so I am not sure if this set up will endure daily use. So far so good for my use though, it's tidy and does not block any view at all.

I also tried sunglass storage with EZpass several times. Had to wait for agent to manually take module to reader. Now I still keep it in SG compartment but take it out and hand hold for read at toll gate. I prefer not to mount it on windshield.

Re: Where are you installing your Ipass?

Funny, in Florida they call it sun-pass or something. Ez-pass doesnt work there.

Re: Where are you installing your Ipass?

I think I'll install behind the mirror. What are those black dots around the mirror for?

They baffled me too. Someone said on another thread that they are just sun shading.

Re: Where are you installing your Ipass?

thanks... is it shading for a sensor in the mirror? Don't want to block a sensor with the ipass!
