Where are you installing your Ipass?

Looking for suggestions in where to place my Ipass...

Would it work in the sunglass storage?
Any other ideas or just mount it behind the mirror?

Being from NY you'd think you would be able to figure that out and logically assume an ipass is like the ez-pass..

Mine is behind the mirror. We also have the option for a license plate mounted unit but I opted for the windshield.

Re: Where are you installing your Ipass?

iPass = Illinois poaches money from us to drive on the highway without having to stop. It used to be that anyone could tell if someone was from Illinois without looking at their plates because every few miles, an IL car would stop, open their window and toss out some change (habits are hard to break). Now with iPass (non-stop open road tolling), you can tell if someone is from Illinois without looking at their plates because they never, ever, stop or yield and will always be the fastest car on the road in any weather condition. Sunny? 100mph+..... Snow? 100mph+.....Rain? 100mph+.....Bald wobbly tires? 100mph+.........etc.

Back OT. My location: Top of windshield, just-off center.

Re: Where are you installing your Ipass?

LOL The "I" part threw me off thinking it was something pertaining to audio visual.

Re: Where are you installing your Ipass?

In the jeep I had my EZ pass way up about the rain sensor where the shaded dots are. Svenska please post a pic of where you mounted yours. I'd like to hide mine also but need ideas.

Re: Where are you installing your Ipass?

Mine's behind the mirror to eliminate a view obstruction. Problem with the license plate version is it can be easily damaged and you have to purchase another one.
