Re: Windshield wipers

Costco Goodyear replacements are $8. At that price it is no problem to replace them as needed.

Re: Windshield wipers

You guys really should try PIAA silicone blades.

This is the Forza Hybrid blade I was talking about. I would have put these on the Jeep but the OEM ones were so awful I had to get something I could buy locally so I bought the Icons:

http://www.piaa.com/WiperBlades/forza.html

They also make a more typical beam blade now too:

http://www.piaa.com/WiperBlades/si-tech.html

Their silicone blades are the best clearing, longest lasting, quietest blades I've used.

Re: Windshield wipers

I put the "Icon" blades on my 2012 Overland and I have to say that they have not impressed me. Mine still freeze up near the arm attachment and leave an area that the blades don't touch. This is mostly on the passenger side for me. The other problem I've noticed is that when cold they are really noisy if there is not a lot of moisture on the winshield.
They work quite well when the temperature is above freezing but I bought them mostly for winter driving and I will be looking for a better solution for next year.

$39.99 x 2 = $79.98 + $11.50 shipping = $91.48 and they don't even have one in 21 inch size.

Or are they sold as a pair?

Re: Windshield wipers

Nope, not sold as a pair but you can get them cheaper on Amazon.

Believe it or not...they're worth it.

The beam blades are a little cheaper and come in the 21 inch size.

Re: Windshield wipers

Bosch Icon's for rain season and summer months.

Rain-X Weatherbeater or some kind of heavy duty wiper for Winter months.
