I've had my 2015 WK2 Limited for a couple of months now. I thought I would be happy with my Bright White paint and all of the textured, black trim, but it didn't work out so well. I'm working on replacing all of the lower black trim pieces with body-colored trim (more on that in a new post when I have it installed).
Yesterday I removed the first black part, the antenna, and replaced it with a white one. I couldn't find a DIY so I decided to provide one. If one exists already, I apologize.

I first ordered a VG Antenna, thinking I could remove my OE antenna from the outside and easily replace it with the aftermarket antenna. Once I learned on the Forum that I couldn't go that route, I ordered an OE antenna, in my body color (GW7). The part number for my 2015 Limited in Bright White is 1YG06GW7AE. They are around $100 online. I will list the VG antenna in the classifieds when I get a chance.

To remove the old antenna, you have to lower the rear portion of the headliner, which is rather simple to do. Once you open the hatch, and look up towards the rear of the headliner, you will see some black (in my case) trim pieces. The middle, rectangular-shaped piece is the first to come out. It is held on by 7 compression clips. So grab an edge, and pull down, and it will pop right off.

Next you need to lower (not remove) the side pieces that line up next to the sides of the removed center piece. There are two clips that you will loosen to lower the side pieces. The clips aren't near the rearward edge, but on the opposite side. So grab the trim piece from the interior edge, and pull down.

Now you're ready to loosen two beige clips that hold the headliner in place. I used a plastic pry tool to do this. You can see the two beige clips already loosened in this pic.

Now if you pull down on the headliner and look up you will see a bolt head that has to be removed to take out the antenna. There are two wires that have to be disconnected as well.

Once the wires are disconnected and the bolt is out you are ready to pull the antenna up, and fish the wires out of the hole in the roof. There is a black clip at the base of the antenna that centers the antenna and holds the wires in place in the opening. It has two tabs on the sides that need to be pressed in to remove it through the opening.

Now you are ready to reverse the procedure to install the new antenna. Simply feed the wires through and place the antenna over the opening. The black piece that I mentioned earlier will center it in the opening. It will move a little until you tighten the bolt. The new antenna comes with a new bolt and silver clip with four prongs that secures the antenna from the inside. The bolt had thread-lock already on it. Once the bolt was tightened and the wires connected, I tested both the satellite radio and my Nav to make sure they were functioning.

I used a small, 1/4 inch drive ratchet with a 5 or 6 inch extension, and then a 1 inch extension, followed by a universal joint and 10 mm socket to remove and then tighten the bolt.

Replace the trim pieces and you are done.

I hope this is helpful to someone down the road.

Thanks, Jason911. I hadn't thought about selling the original antenna, but yes, I don't have any plans for it. I don't have any idea currently of its value. I will look around when I get a chance. PM me an offer if you don't mind.

You're welcome, CK. I think this will look nice on your GC with your mods thus far.

Speaking of your mods, did you change your mirrors? I saw a pic in another thread and they look body colored. After I get my lowers from paint and installed I may change the mirrors and door handles.

Sorry about that, guys. I'm writing this on my Android Tablet and I can see the text.

If there is something I can do to fix it someone please let me know.
That's weird. I can see the above quoted, but not what is in the space above the first photo in your original post. I'm using Chrome.

5 hours later- Using Explorer 11 and still don't see it. Ah, computers, you can't live with them and you can't live without them.

Looks like my SirusXM is crapping out on me. When i turn my '14 JGC Overland on, the channels come through. About a minute later, I see:
CHECK ANTENNA
SEE DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE

Could you repost your picts? LOoks like they are taken down after a certain period of time...bummer
