Re: WK2 Front Tow Hook Installation (pic heavy)

I believe I will be doing this very soon. Question for those that have:
Is there a radiator drain accessable once you have the fascia off? I'd like to just go ahead and change it if I'm going to be in there.
Thanks!

Re: WK2 Front Tow Hook Installation (pic heavy)

I just bought a 2015 Summit and I want to install tow hooks. I saw other people's installations and some of them look great but I had another idea and was wondering if anyone has tried it. On justforjeeps.com they had the tow hook bezel for the WK2 Overland for sell for $10 each side. I wanted to know if it might be possible to cut out the shape of that bezel in the lower honeycomb, in front of where the tow hooks would go on a Summit, and then utilize those bezels by attaching them (somehow, I haven't figured that part out yet) for a more factory/clean look. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

All - my 2015 Altitude should arrive this week. The dealership is telling me that in order to install tow hooks, they will have to CUT the fascia. This makes NO SENSE to me. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I put hooks on my 14 Limited. The lower part needs to come off but it is pretty simple. There are 7 plastic thumb screws that hold it on. 3 across the bottom and 2 off to each side. Good luck.

Hey I was wondering the exact size of the plastic rivets, or pins that hold the bumper on that you need to pop off in order to do the install. I would like to go to the local store and get some before I do the install but there are many sizes. Tried looking through this thread but came up short. Thanks.

WK2 Front Tow Hook Installation (pic heavy)

Here is the size you'll need....

I got them from Clips and Fastners.com and are OE spec. Harbor freight sells nylon rivets too, but in my option are total $hit and break super easy.

That manual page references quarter turn fasteners used with the off road pkg. Anyone have a part number for those fasteners to replace the push screws. I do a lot of beach driving and would like to remove that front air dam when needed. TIA.

Never mind, found it;

Fascia, Front - RETAINER, 1/4 Turn Locking

Part # 68034329AA

Re: WK2 Front Tow Hook Installation (pic heavy)

A bit off the subject but has anyone installed fog lights or something else in these openings where the tow hooks attach? I personally don't think I will ever use the tow hooks but I don't like the look with nothing there.

Just looking for other options but might end up going with the tow hooks if nothing else is really available.
Thx

Same lower fascia as the Laredo/Limited/Overland. It should come off, at which point the access "doors" can be popped off. No cutting needed.
