A CAI should be good for another .28 hp, no?
I was thinking of doing a full exhaust upgrade on it, maybe get a full 1.5 hp out of it, with one of those iridium plugs and a volant cai.......then my mower should be able to hack down 80 year old maples.....

And yes ,I do realize a lot of people have reported issues with RP, and I have reviewed a lot of them. I will say I find 80% of the people who complain, completely stupid who know nothing about an automotive, but the 20% do concern me as I have heard some things from people I clearly can tell know their business.

But, like with anything, some vehicles will like it more then others.

And I can find a whole mess of people on here that have had nothing but troubles with their 2014 WK2, and some of had NONE....

No, not at all. People are just discussing some of the different oil types and brands. I am an exotic car collector as well as a 2014 Overland 5.7 owner and have always ran Mobil 1 with first change around 3000-4000. Chrysler will perform their standard oil changes at the dealership using a Penzoil synthetic blend. It comes down to owner preference but I tend to like the synthetics. For the small extra cost why not go with it. Same reason I fill all my cars up with 93 whether it asks for it or not. The difference in cost between 89 and 93 is so marginal that I don't think twice. Read through the posts see what people are saying and pick one. IMO you can't go wrong with Mobil 1 5W-20 Synthetic and the OEM Mopar filter.

Yeah I just bought that today at Walmart and I got the mopar filter for 5 bucks no tax and free shipping off the net. My first oil change is Friday at 1100 miles and I've driven my fully loaded 2014 with the V8 with the Eco on all the time and have enjoyed many miles between the next gas station visit. I have just cruised all 1100 miles and snuck up quickly on 80 various times without even noticing it as I keep my dash on the digital speedometer.

Re: Wk2 hemi oil change

^^ I agree. Although I've not had a car ever perform any better on higher octane gas than what is recommended in the manual. My reason sometimes for going lower oct is that in some locations, I think the higher octane is not as fresh (judging by the cars in the area - no offense to any 1983 Ford Escort owners).. And recently, I've seen HUGE differences in price to go from 87 to 91, like 80c/gal! Hwy robbery. I'll live with a bit of pulled timing for that dough. Some lower end gas has less cleaning agents in the lower oct, but I think most better ones are all the same through their grades.

I'm uncertain of that pilot,if the grill designs are the same it should. I'm glad I luckily got it since they were on a several months back order. It definately makes the car look even better and I get alot of looks anyway.

If you do that for any oil you'll get hits. The Subaru guys hate m1 with what seems like "data" to back it up, other vehicles, people swear by it. I haven't decided what to run in my jgc... Leaning towards pennzoil syn for the hemi...
