I went to 5 local dealers until I found one that would even take an order. Once I did the lowest price I could negotiate was $1700 under MSRP (not invoice). Being happy just to be able to order the vehicle at all I accepted that.
Luckily, they ****ed up the order and left off Offroad Adventure II. Being in a wheelchair, I can't physically get into the vehicle without the air suspension and the ability to lower the vehicle. The dealer wanted to add $1795 to the order in order to fix their mistake. That was enough for me.
Shannon recommended a dealer in Houston. I called him and had exactly what I wanted ordered in half an hour. Total price was almost $4000 less than my local dealer.
I'd say that's well worth a 700 mile trip to Houston.
