Re: Anyone tuned a CRD yet?

I'm based in Melbourne and have 7 dealers in Aust for Diesel/Vehicle tuning and another 12 or so sub-dealers that just send in ECU's because they don't do many vehicles.

Our bread and butter though is seadoo tuning which uses a bosch ecu with the same chip as the 3.0 CRD 2012+.

Re: Anyone tuned a CRD yet?

That's not a real ecu tune up.Gurantee that won't come close in acceleration or fuel economy from a proper ecu tune. Happy to eat my words but we've done this test many times on many platforms already...

Re: Anyone tuned a CRD yet?

This is a quick 0-60 i did with mine, it was wet with a 20mph side wind but the road was empty and i was curious what it would do.

I would say its about 0.5 sec quicker to 60 than a tuning box but the best bit of a remap is the mid range grunt, it just pulls no matter what speed or revs your doing.

As said before, if your looking for tuning then a remap is the way to go.

I have had my last 2 cars tuned best thing I did, granted these were petrol not diesel however the principles are the same. I will never go with a tuning box that being said do you offer the ability to log and or dyno tune ???

Also what about minor changes such as fan cut in temp and speed ???

Cheers

What guarantee do we have that the re-map doesn't get wiped at the next service when the mechanic plugs his box of tricks into the ECU?
