Hello. I've had the Bluespark pro + boost for over 12mths and love it. I run it on "E9" which is maximum settings. There is a large boost to performance, even on standard settings. Easily installed in under 5mins. Even cheaper because we don't have to pay VAT.Great gains per dollar spent.
Happy to help with any other questions.

I am interested in this too. Just don't have the funds at the moment.

Sounds good but many running at the higher settings are getting codes. Aren't you getting any? What model Jeep have you got?

Where did you buy from and what was your AUD cost?

Do you remove the unit for servicing? Have you noticed any improvement in economy?

Purchased through the Bluespark website for a bit over $400
Easy to remove, under 5mins, which I do before servicing.

Sorry I haven't been monitoring fuel consumption accurately enough to comment either way. The worst thing I've done regarding economy is 285 /50 Cooper zeons, lost 100km from a tank since putting them on

Transmission is smooth. No fault codes. ED in America was doing 0 to 60 in 6.7.
Good times!

Re: Anyone tuned a CRD yet?

This thread has been a great read. I too had considered Bluespark for the pro + boost chip as they seem to have a great reputation on quite a few forums. During my search though I also found a local supplier called Lineartorq.

Their product seemed to operate similarly to the Bluespark module, however I did find they were much quicker to reply to my questions than Bluespark. It may have simply been due to the time difference in UK, but In most cases I had to send a follow up email to Bluespark before I would get a reply. They may have simply been busy I guess.

I also looked at DTUK as I was referred by a mate here in Qld who had one in his diesel Golf.

But in the end I actually opted for the local company Lineartorq, mainly as I always had a quick reply on email but also because I noticed that the quoted output figure was a little higher than DTUK in particular. Anyway I fitted it myself, which was super easy and have kept it on the factory setting for now.

So far I haven't towed with it but the extra torque from a standing start is excellent. My mate with the golf has now also purchased one for his Audi Q3 and reckons he gets an extra 40kms out of tank of fuel driving in Brisbane city traffic.

All in all though I think any of the three tuning boxes I considered would perform brilliantly.

Did they remove VAT from the price?

I see there is a 10% discount code - BFD10.
