Wow manual locking hubs? Really have these been used at all for the past 20 years??? Who really wants to get out and lock/unlock hubs to go off road?

The nav a nightmare to operate? Have they tried the BMW iDrive? I am sorry the simple fact that any nav that isn't touch screen is a pain to use and should be deemed the worst.

How creditable are they being fans of the ugly ass new VW jetta.

No the diesel gets the 5sp merc trans. It is the best trans I know of.

The Chrysler 5sp and 6sp do not have the torque rating for the diesel

Really, I know the CRD has the W5A580. But this shows this is on all models.

Although this shows the W5A580 for the 3.6L and surprisingly for the 5.7L the 545RFE.

I don't understand your point.

yes the 3.6 has the W5a580, the W5A580 is a better match for the more modern pentastar engine, I believe it is a more energy efficient trans, but more than likely more expensive than a 545RFE.
The CRD also needs the W5A580, for the torque rating of this trans.

the 3.6 is standard across the range so will the W5A580.
The 5.7 is not standard so it has a different trans not standard.

If we could have the HEMI with the W5A580 it would be a good powerful combination.

Sorry what I was trying say is it is strange they are matching a lower torque rated transmission to the HEMI. Wasn't clear to me if there was a reason for this related to the W5A580.

The W5A580 is the same gearbox that they are using for the new SRT8, so I have read. It must be one tough box.
