Re: Battery capabilities for caravanning

Car things are so much easier when you're a guy, aren't they? I think they marry us just to get their cars fixed cheaply.

Re: Battery capabilities for caravanning

Hi everyone, three weeks on the road on our trip around Oz the Redarc brake controller has been working great and the difference the wdh makes when towing makes the whole setup feel so much more stable with some of the strong cross winds we have encounted. Two things that have made the trip unpleasant is Ex tropical cyclone Oswald with its flooding and the Jeep breaking down near Noosa due to one of the fuel lines in the tank coming off. Glad I had Jeep Assist they were so helpful in getting the car towed to a dealer and setting us up in a hire car whilst our JGC was getting fixed. Fuel economy for the start of the trip was rather crappy doing 18.6 kpl the head on winds were murder, with the arrival of better weather we are now down to the low 13's. Due for a 10,000 service around Melbourne can anyone recommend a good dealer to do the service???
