Diesel weight

I noticed in the 2014 press release .pdf that the diesel weighs about 175lbs more than the v8. I thought it was supposed to weigh less?

Re: Diesel weight

It might be the additional gear that goes with it.

That may include:

Larger/plusher engine mounts
Additional sound deading materials
Possibly thicker glass for sound deadening
Diesel Particulate Filter (if that is the way they are going in the U.S.
Revised fuel tank
Diesel fuel particlate and water filters

I am guessing but I sure the increased mass is more than just the engine itself.
