Re: GC CRD 2012 RPM too high?

I had a test drive of a Limited CRD about a month ago in Orange. I specifically took note of the revs at the time; 1800-1900 rpm at 100km/h.

Being an auto there is some play in the torque converter. Going up a reasonably steep hill I would expect the lock in the torque converter to release and the engine to rev higher even though it was still in 5th gear. That could explain your observation?
