Smog stuff on North American CRD

I hear people talking about all the smog / environmental parts being added to the American CRD. Just curious what are the differences between the export CRD and the ones that will be sold in US/Canada?

Urea injection for Smog control.

Not sure if the AU and EU kids have the DPF and regen cycle.

Re: Smog stuff on North American CRD

We have DFP, but it is very close to the Turbo, so does not seem to have the burn off cycle like other cars. This may not be the case, but I am yet to see it on my car.

No piss tanks required down under, just the DPF.

Re: Smog stuff on North American CRD

I remember reading in an article someone posted in another forum that the European CRD had a few more horsepower. Like 5 or 7 or something like that. It seemed to be a very credible article.
