Thanks Milous for the updated .pdf. Very handy information.
Looks a much better proposition - just drive it up on a rock and slide under in the dirt...etc etc. No worries.
Pleasure to have you around.
I did check under our Laredo that has only the standard under protection and it was easy to spot and access the housing - no covers to be removed.
Now my only question is when installing new filters obviously they are going in dry and the housing will be empty of fuel so when closing it all up it becomes a housing full of air.
It goes against my grain to just close it all up and crank and hope for the best.
Is there a priming and filling procedure?
2012 Laredo CRD
Bright Silver with Quadralift & front recovery hook - (that has been used unfortunately)
It has an electric fuel pump so self bleeding should not be a problem.
I would suspect after changing the filter you would here the pump until it got up to pressure.
But with these push start cars no turning the key to ignition on then starter. HMM
I need a WK2 diesel to play with.
PS please do not crack the injector lines to bleed. this could end up with a severed finger. These new high pressure diesels fuel lines are like laser cutters.
Ordered WK2 Overland, Mineral Grey (was Blackberry) Hopefully. 18th March 2011
ETA late June now late September
Got it 9th September
