WK2 Interior Lighting Color Change? Step on in!

So... I'm working on the FIRST WK2 interior lighting color change!

Darby Crash showed up at the bat cave on Monday afternoon... after several hours of scratching my head and carefully tearing apart his 3 month old 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L 4WD interior, I was able to mod the colors of:

Front Drivers Window Panel
Passenger Window Switch
Rear Window Switches
RHR Navigation Radio
Overhead Homelink Console
Climate Control (with custom red indicator buttons)
Lower Button Bar

A couple of LED's are acting up, so I'll have to re-solder, or replace those. Other than that... this thing looks AMAZING!

Phase II will be:

Shifter Indicator Letters
Cup Holder
4WD Control Panel
Rear Seat Heated Seat Switches
Headlight Switch
Door Panel Pocket Lights
Door Panel Inside Latch Lights

Stay tuned for tons of pix!

Bob

Thanks!

You can drive your car without any of these installed. No codes

With the WK2, you can also drive it without the upper shift console, because it's not part of the shifter, as in previous year builds. The shift letters are just a part of that bezel & have nothing to do with the shifter mechanism.

Let me know how I can help. I'd like to get another one of these under my belt

Bob

Re: WK2 Interior Lighting Color Change? Step on in!

Thank you

The cup holder was the most pressing part of the job, for the owner. He hated the green color... I think the cup holder alone, was the impetus for doing this entire job

Now that the WK2 is out of the way, I'll ship your sample part in the morning, in the color requested
