Re: 2012 with Tow package and Compact spare tire?

Is there a tire/wheel combo that will fit in the spare tire compartment and also fit on the front?
Thanks

Agreed that the tire height is most important aspect of spare size (and clearing the brakes of course!) After reviewing info on jeep website and wk2jeeps.com I have come to the conclusion that the full size spare is only provided as part of the tow package on the 2014 SRT. Those of us with the 12/13 models with the factory installed tow package get the mini spare.

when you say mini spare what do you mean by that? Mine is 30.5 in tall as is my stock tires and the only bad thing about this is the 18 in rim its on wont fit on the front as the rotors are to big.

Mini spare is the terminology used in the specifications guide. The height is 30.5 inches tall.

Re: 2012 with Tow package and Compact spare tire?

As I have run flats, first thing I did is take out the wheel, car lift, and corner storage boxes. I think it may all weigh about 40 kg or 80 lbs.... and now I have a ton of space ... a 911 Porsche would be happy with that alone ))
