A/C Settings reset temperature and direction

Measurement in Celsius .

Whenever I increase the temperature, say 22 or 23 then SYNC them for both seats, it stays that way for a few days. But sometimes it resets back to 21 degrees automatically without notice.

I also have it blow towards me and my legs, but that also resets to just blowing in front.

Why is this happening ? Any ideas ?

Re: A/C Settings reset temperature and direction

The HVAC systems seem to have a mind of their own right now. Yesterday it was 87 degrees in my Jeep, and the only way to cool it down was to hit max a/c. Every other setting either did nothing or blew hot air in my face, even if I selected floor vents.

The, hopefully, good news is that a fix for the system is due out shortly. Chrysler has been working on it since last year.

Like some others here, mine started acting funny after the last 'fix', but only intermittently. Knowing the fix was coming I didn't mention it to the dealer. I was concerned that in an attempt to repair it they would do something that would interfere with the upcoming solution.

I just thought of something ... It happens
Are your settings tied to the memory triggered by the key fob?

Re: A/C Settings reset temperature and direction

Yeah it seems like it; The HVAC keeps modifying the temp between 21 and 23 according to cabin temperature. Not sure if this is a feature, but I would like it set to manual.

Will they truly fix it though ? All the updates until now did nothing to correct the small glitches in the system ...
