Photobucket was a no-go for me. This needs to be posted so folks will know what area to file for the fascia fix.

WOW, double sided tape! I wonder how this will look 2, 3 or 4 years down the road?

I know it sounds bad, but the tape actually is just there to give a cushion. The hold down tab would actually work if you make the cuts in the plastic support area like it shows.

Im thinking in most mild cases a strip of 3M waterproof double sided tape will hold down that corner and doesnt require any disassembly. Mine held a week with cheap double sided foam. Im going to replace it with 3M and will keep everyone posted. And the good thing is, you cant see the tape.

As far as the outside fascia issue that is the worst for most guys and its an easy and fast fix.

Re: Bumper cover issues

So, I assume rather than removing the entire bumper facia we went in from behind? Or did you simply pull the side out enough to remove the clip and modify it.

Re: Bumper cover issues

Yes. Removing the plastic rivets and one bolt is all you need to have acces to the clip. The fascis is quite flimsy. Clip comes off with two bolts and a long and short socket extension will be needed. You file down 3 areas on the plastic clip and button it all back. When it's still apart you have a lot of access to the lower corner headlight and can see why it's not staying fastened.

Re: Bumper cover issues

Hey guys . Finally made the repair tonight so far so good. But I decided to replace those plastic rivets with some fasteners I had laying around. I also opted to use 1/2" foam tape and stuck it to the bump on the headlight first. Everythin wnet great now only time will tell.
Thanks.

I bet the screws and tabs hold it tighter than the old plastic Pop rivets

so you just undo the rivets and pull the wheel liner back and there is two bolts right there? just undo those and file the tabs down and done? I only have the corner popping out next to the fender.
