No the 2012 SRT's had a N06 recall for the dash carbon trim, we replaced all the dash carbon and inspected all doors to see if any of the doors were de-laminating.

You can order any of the carbon trim individually, or order the 2012 N06 recall part number that will come as a "kit" with all 3 dash parts, all door carbon will have to be ordered individually.

What happens to the old parts that are fine, but just replaced in the complete kits? Are you guys allowed to keep that stuff for re-sale on ebay, etc...?

Funny you ask, but with the N06 recall we HAD to replace all 3 parts on the dash even if they were ok, so I may possibly have a almost full set of good dash trim in my tool box, but unfortunately alot of the trim was truly de-laminating and got pitched into the trash.

We had very few of the 2012 SRT even come in for the recall so the good old parts are few and far between.

Hahahaha, so I just got off the phone with SRT Customer Care..... They told me that leaving the vehicle out in the sun causes the adhesive to fail and acted like its NORMAL FOR PARTS TO FALL OFF OR DELAMINATE ON A 2 YEAR OLD VEHICLE. I told her that if we were not supposed to park outside then they should have advised us in the owners manual. They also told me that because I am 4K miles outside of my warranty (40k) that I should go pound sand. Well guys, gals there is no love above 36,000 miles. We are on our own on this KNOWN ISSUE. Good luck to anyone in a hot climate as this truck spent its entire life in 60-75 degree overcast beach weather. THANKS FCA SRT....NOT

Re: Carbon Fiber Warped in Hot Sun

Update: found out today that this vehicle just had this CF bezel piece replaced in January(under warranty) so it latest 7 months. You would think that would warrant a replacement as the part they just installed was defective as well. So far NOPE. Most expensive vehicle FCA produces and it's so true. We are treated the same as a base Dodge Dart owner. Unprecedented

I'm out of ideas, I'm open to anyone else's thoughts as I believe this will eventually affect every owner. Either directly as parts fail or indirectly as it will eventually bring the resale value down. Would I pay 50k again if I knew within 2 years "premium trim pieces" would DELAMINATE or fall off and I would be told by SRT" don't drive/park in the sun" . Answer NO.

Re: Carbon Fiber Warped in Hot Sun

My carbon fiber dash pieces just started peeling off too. '14 with 24k miles. My pieces are definitely warping and pulling the adhesive off. It's not just defective adhesive.

I know it sucks right! It's like the first thing my peeps saw when they got in the truck. " is that real CF ? They ask. Now it's like I'm embarrassed to give anyone a ride. Black ops has the capability to redo his but we are at the manufacturers mercy. If I'm lucky enough to get mine covered, I'm asking for the bad part and start a resto project to see if I can fix it. I may use Rhino glue as that held my moms corvettes rear glass window in place for 5 years. Maybe we can coax someone to start making "good" replacement parts.

Re: Carbon Fiber Warped in Hot Sun

I had some healiner adhesive and decided to try it on my piece that fell off. It's been holding tight for weeks now. I have a pic of it off, so I can show the dealership bc it looks like it never fell off now. My vinyl wrap holds better than the factory CF.
