The temperatures have dropped well below 0 degrees in the past few weeks and when it sits outside overnight and I start it up in the morning (remote start) it lets out a howl thats loud enough that I can hear from in the house for about 3 seconds then it's silent.
As it only does this in the morning when it sits overnight, it doesn't do this any other time. The vehicle sits in my office parking lot for 6-8 hours at a time and no squeal/howl on start up.
I can only think it's related to the drive belt/pulleys.
Anyone else experience this on their srt ? I'd hate to have to take it in to the dealer.
ive heard it when i leave my car outside in PA. Temps low as 10-20 degrees. Last year when i started her after a cold night i heard the howl and she even had a hard time turning over. Even the front led ribben around the lights seemed bluish until she warmed up.
