Door Alignment

I hadn't noticed before but my buddy pointed out that my passenger door was off from a gap perspective. When the door is closed and you look down the side of the Jeep (from the rear), it definitely looks like it's not closed all the way.

Anyone else see this on their rig? Not sure if I should try to adjust it or just take it back for warranty work. Just a hassle going back if it's a simple adjustment.

Re: Door Alignment

It should have been caught at the factory before it left but they are to busy just pushing those things out the door as fast as possible. No surprise there. Anyway you can probably adjust it at the striker latch. Simple enough to do with the proper torx socket.

I caught the misalignment on my passenger door on inspection at delivery. The dealer adjusted it in 5 minutes. No issues since.

OK, sounds straight forward. I'll have them look at it to avoid any issues down the road.

The only reason it was caught was due to all the salt on the truck. The contrast of black door jamb made it obvious.
