Door Panel Rattle

My passenger door panel is rattling like a pissed of dog when bass drops even at low volume levels... When I push on the grab handle it goes away. Any suggestions? Can I tighten it up? Thx for any help.

Re: Door Panel Rattle

Depends on how handy you are. You can either take off the door cover and peek in there to see if there is something wonky in there or take it to the dealer.

Re: Door Panel Rattle

Both of my door panels rattle, the left one has been slightly fixed (still rattles at the lock w/ doors unlocked).
And the right door, rattles with low bass and has been "fixed" 4 times. The last time they tried convincing me that all jeeps do that.
I find it rattles inside the handle, so its been in the shop the last 8 days, they better have my door rattle proof or im loosing it.

Re: Door Panel Rattle

Mine did as well and I found the cause to be a wiring harness vibrating against the door panel. I removed the panel and applied masking tape on the harness to hold it against the door and this seemed to fix it.
Hope this helps.

No crap? Was it drama to get the panel on and off without damage? Thx!

Keep complaining about it, my dealer "fixed" it 4 times, then realized there was a piece broken in where the door handle is.

Re: Door Panel Rattle

they ended up replacing the inner panel that came with a new window regulator and this seemed to fix the problem..
