First Oil change invoice shows 5W-40 and not SAE 0W40

Yesterday I took my 2012 GC SRT8 for first oil changes after 5400 miles. I asked my service manager if he is going to put SAE 0W40 full synthetic oil and he said yes. I asked him atleast couple of times and confirmed everytime.
After reaching home I see on the invoice as 5W-40 synthetic oil. Nowhere it says full synthetic and SAE 0W 40....WTF ??

What should I do ? Is it going to harm the engine if I drive ? Should I ask my dealer to change the oil to 0W40 ? If he tells me 5W-40 is same as full synthetic as 0W-40 and its not going to harm the engine...is he right ?

If he tells me they used SAE 0W-40 but on invoice it shows 5W-40, should I ask him to give me another receipt/invoice showing SAE 0W-40 full synthetic just incase if there is any issue in the engine related to the oil I have the proof.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Re: First Oil change invoice shows 5W-40 and not SAE 0W40

It's always interesting how service managers always know more about the vehicle than the people who engineered and built it.....

Read from here, post #34 on: Oil Change

Also read this post for the engineer chat: May 16, 2012 SRT Engineers chat session

Then, go tell your service manager to re-change your oil with the proper 0W-40 SRT specific oil he has in the parts room in a 5 gallon drum.

Re: First Oil change invoice shows 5W-40 and not SAE 0W40

I had a similar issue. I even stated I wanted 0W-40 before the oil change and they reassured me it would be correct. Got the invoice and it was incorrect. They changed the oil out and put the correct 0W-40 SRT oil in from the 5 gallon pail labeled for use on SRT8s. Get it changed.

Penzoil don't have the same weight as Mobil1......so since the dealers all sell 5 40 penzoil and not 0 40 mobil1.......
