Hey guys, so my 2014 SRT with 9000 miles on it purchased new April of last year has some serious flaking going on with just one of the rotors. It's not too bad YET, but it's going to keep going surely. Just as background I'm an avid detailer and they have been sealed, etc several times.
I think it may have happened from a small chip from a rock and just got worse. I do not use any harsh wheel cleaners on my wheels or brakes. So my question is, would something like this be covered by warranty? I've never been to a dealer since I got the car as I prefer to do all my own maintenance, but would gladly go in if something like this is covered. Anyone have a similar experience and what happened? If it's not covered under any type of warranty, is there a way to stop it from getting worse? I've touched up small rock chips with red model airplane paint in a few small spots before, but this is the area about the size of a half dollar on the front rotor.
Thanks for reading and for the advice.
