Same thing here. At 600 miles in my '15 Coasting and light braking into 5th and 4th gear lurches quite a bit.

Re: Flash: Transmission Shift Enhancements - 2014 SRT

My 2014 SRT did the same. Worse in Eco mode. Was told by the dealer that it will learn to be smoother. After reading all the complaints I had my doubts but after 2000 miles it is MUCH better. I followed the break-in procedures then drove aggressively the last 1000 miles. Still not butter smooth but quite acceptable. Dealer was actually right.

Time will tell. Best of luck!

Are these updates something that the dealer will apply with out being notified. Or is this something I have to bring up, and say I want it. Or beat around the bush about the symptoms and hope they do it?

Have noticed the same occasionally in my 2015 when ds from 2-1, i believe i was in sport mode. Will start to monitor now and gauge regularity. I'm only at 800km so will also give it more time plus starting to drive it slightly more aggressively now as per the manual.

Re: Flash: Transmission Shift Enhancements - 2014 SRT

The transmission on my 2014 SRT is pretty rough when downshifting, especially 5-4 and 2-1, and I'd like to try a different dealer to see if they have better luck with it. Can anybody recommend a dealer/service advisor in the Dallas area that has successfully fixed a 2014 SRT with rough downshift problems?

Thanks for the help!

Go to wk2jeeps.com. There is a new TSB that is an update to the April one.. Came out end of NOV. One is for the 2-1 downshift issue the other is to fix the what the original update failed to to

I am my appointment on Friday ... 5 to 4 sucks especially in Eco on coasting.... Also getting the sunvisor recall done... Parts took 2.5 months to come in

Re: Flash: Transmission Shift Enhancements - 2014 SRT

Got both upgrades done... Jury still out on 5 to 4 shift... But Eco seems to start better in 2nd. Also in auto seems to shift better

Had a few 6 to 5 jerks... So hopefully these fixes, didn't create a new problem...

My fix-

Pull the negative off the battery, step.on brake pedal several times. Let set for atleast 30 minutes.

Reattach negative...then take that baby out and bash it...drive it like you stole it. Find a curvy roady an carve some corners in sport mode. Do some lauches in launch control. This is a performance vehicle...treat it as such.
