Very exciting. Now to fight with the dealer to convince them that it exists. Haha

Got mine done today since I happened to be getting some service done. I can tell the difference especially when downshifting coming to a stop. It is a lot smoother than before. All shift feel smoother and more refined in auto mode.

I have not tested out the differences in other modes yet, will advise.

@Jbjones85 , Westgate didn't give me much hassle, just told them there was a fix for rough shifting in the transmission and provided the TSB#.

Re: Flash: Transmission Shift Enhancements - 2014 SRT

Got mine done yesterday. Very noticeable difference on both down and upshifting. Much smoother when coming to a stop now. It will be interesting to see how or if it changes when it re-learns my driving.

Probably prolongs tranny life. Doubtful they'd give us anything useful..

Re: Flash: Transmission Shift Enhancements - 2014 SRT

Will something similar apply to 2015s? The shifting in mine seems really sloppy and confused at times. It also lurches quite a bit when slowing down.

I would give yours some time to go through the learning process. You most likely already have the most up to date transmission software enhancements.

That is what I figured. So far I am at 1040 miles, but close to 1000 of those were interstate miles, so not much shifting. I have read of people pulling the (-) battery cable to re-start the learning process. I'll give it another 500-1000 miles and then try that if it doesn't improve.

I had mine done as well but it still feels bad 3-2-1... even the wife said something while we were slowing to a stop

Re: Flash: Transmission Shift Enhancements - 2014 SRT

Hmm... I was about to order a 15 SRT without test driving. Maybe I should drive a 14 first. We have an 05 X5 4.4i and there is a horrible 1-2 lurch in those trucks. I'd hate to drop $70k CDN and have the same issue.
