Grill Popped Out

I just noticed the other day that my grill is popped out at the bottom. Tried moving it around and popping it back in but it wont budge. Anyone have this problem? Really dont want to take it to the dealer...

Re: Grill Popped Out

I would bet someone has bumped into your front bar. I would remove the grill and refit.
It just clips into the front bar, so there may be some pressure preventing it going back in, while the grill is attached.

Re: Grill Popped Out

I went back through all my photos and the previous owners photos and I can see the grill popped out in all of them. Im thinking it came from the factory like this.

I've tried popping it back in several times and it wont budge. Should I attempt to remove the lower section and pop it back in or dealer? Not sure they would consider this a warranty issue

Re: Grill Popped Out

Hey man, just a suggestion and I know you want to avoid the Dealer, but, due to the $$$$ amount of that rig and being its still relatively new,why not let them deal with it under warranty?Just in case a clip or something is broken behind the grill.I AM with you not wanting to go to the Dealer(hate mine being out of my sight) but in the long run,if you can't clip it back in yourself, use the warranty. Know it ain't the answer your looking for,but that's an awesome rig, just looks alittle off with the grill out of place. If your anything like me,even though others won't notice,it will piss you off knowing that imperfection is there.

Well, whatever you decide(painting the rings will definitely add to the look) that's one hell of a cool rig and Dan see you look after it too.All the best.

Re: Grill Popped Out

Took it in yesterday to see if they could fix it. They had it from 8:30a until 5p and I show up to find it still popped out. He had a tech try to get it back in with no luck. So they took photos and sent the info to Chrysler. He is under the belief that either the grill or the bumper is warped so they ordered both. I should know what the plan is early next week. I have a feel they didn't even try to remove it and reinstall it

Re: Grill Popped Out

Just heard back from the dealer haha. He said the new grill came in and they want me to bring it by Monday and then have a local body shop come pick it up to do the install.

Do all grills come painted or will this need paint?

Has anyone removed their grill before? If I could find instructions I would attempt this myself

Re: Grill Popped Out

New grill did need paint. All done under warranty and no longer bucktoothed! Painting the grill rings next
