Launch control help

Hi I got a 2014 srt8 jeep

Is there a specific way to do launch control ? Every time I do I get it at like 4.8-5.1 seconds and there's some 2014s I see gettin 4.6 , and even a 2015 that got 4 seconds !

Is there a difference between the 2014/15 in hp and torque ?

And how is the best way to do a good launch

Re: Launch control help

I have not used the Launch button, but the procedure in the owner's manual seems straight forward. I would make sure you release the brake pedal cleanly to keep it from dragging. Hoping to hear from some experienced users myself.

You can raise up the launch RPM with the selec track dial. After you press the LC button once, press it again and hold. With your other hand, turn the dial clock wise. For every tick you feel is 100 RPM higher all the way up to 3000k rpm. Standard is 2000 I think.

Does this actually work, how would you do it in a '15?

Re: Launch control help

I get the feeling the some SRT owners think there is a difference between the 0-60 between the 14's and 15's? Why? No real difference. I consistently get 4.0-4.2 with no mods.

Anyone else?

You do have to do it every time, it does not save it.

Re: Launch control help

2014 with 20k miles. Most of my runs at 40C I haven't tried a launch since the weather got nice.

My bud has the same jeep and he's with me on the times.
