That is exactly what the dealership did once they saw and repaired mine.

Awesome. And I assume that did the trick.
I am looking to hopefully order a 2015 early next year, so excuse my "newbie questions". I have always loved the SRT Jeeps, and I think it's time I get one.
HOPEFULLY!! lol

It will prevent the wires from ever coming near the axle and possibly rubbing. No issues since.

Re: Message: Service Adaptive Damping Suspension System

Evidently you guys have much better dealers than here in Green Bay. I just got my SRT back from the dealer and they said that my wire fell due to an accident. The service tech said it is obvious the wires were unclipped, how????? My jeep has 12,000 miles and pretty babied with my wife as the primary driver. I called and complained to SRT and an looing to get it assigned to another dealer. If anyone is from the GB area stay clear of Gandrud Jeep.

Re: Message: Service Adaptive Damping Suspension System

I dropped off my 2014 WK2 at my dealership yesterday to have the shock replaced.
I am currently experiencing a clunking in my front end in the cold weather, and I am praying that this will resolve that issue. Ive been told the vehicle is completely different after this repair.

I will post an update when I get it back.

Update:

The shock has been replaced, and the vehicle is completly different! Its like night and day! It took some getting used to, mainly due to the fact that I havent drove the vehicle with out this shock needing replacement.
My only complaint is my steering wheel is not centered.

Re: Message: Service Adaptive Damping Suspension System

Wire fell out of the clip on mine and it rubbed on the axle till it frayed. Just had the shock replaced. It was the Rear left that did it. I too would recommend everyone go under and check and make sure their cables aren't coming out of their clips.

yup, after mine was fixed they zip tied them to ensure they don't fall.

Re: Message: Service Adaptive Damping Suspension System

I have been waiting for my adaptive damping suspension system to be replaced since February 12th (my 2014 SRT is only 8 months old). Originally I was told it would be repaired by the end of February but when February ended I was told end of March and of course when March ended it became end of April. As of last week I was told it might be end of May (and we all know that May will become June, then July and so on). Clearly there is a serious design flaw with this part and the engineers have yet to figure out how to redesign it so it doesn't keep happening. I feel like my hands are tied...any advice?

Holy smokes, that is a long time.
I think the remedy is to zip tie the hoses coming out of the shocks away from the axles so they do not get torn/rubbed away. I do believe that is what most people here have done. Just get them replaced and zip tie them out of the way of the rotating axles. (See the first half of this thread.)
If the engineers are trying to get a fix for this I would like to know what it is.
Good luck and let us know how you make out.
