So took it in after the message comes on sporadically, message was on when I pulled in the dealer, took a picture, service rep saw it... I said - I'll just wait

They were backed up - so they said just drop it off and come back later... I said - if it doesn't come on - go drive it - shut it on and off, flog it - whatever...

At the same time they said there were 5 new FLASH updates (seriously, I only see 3 on the wk2jeeps site... jeep was just in there in July for the oil change... so I thought maybe these will fix it

Go to pick it up and they said - we saw the stored code, but could not repeat, no matter what they did. Said, when it comes on next time, just drive over and we will put it on the computer... right because I have time for this...

I flogged it on the way home, and wasn't till after twenty miles at a stop light - message comes on and it goes to firm setting... shut off at the next light, restart it, and it drives fine till I get home. I ran it through the carwash yesterday and didn't make it worse or better... very sporadic...

Going to crawl underneath it tomorrow and look for the loose wires as well as pull the battery cables overnight to clear anything, and see if I can see anything...

What a pain...

Passenger rear I found a loose wire out of the clip... Was able to get it back in the clip and zip tied as well

Found a small rock on the driver side shock... Wedged in between the small piston and the shock.. Was rubbing a little

Did that and got it out and flogged it for 5 miles and no codes yet ... Will see what happens

Only because of this excellent forum... I told the service guy... Take the wheels off and look at the shocks... But they never do anything unless they have to

Only problem with RM mids... It is a tight squeeze under there!

Well after almost two months of my firx - the right rear shock finally gave up the ghost - the tubing was out of the clip again (after sitting for a week at the airport in sub-zero temps and driving home on crap MI roads), but even after fixing that - it is a hosed... 36K miles

This time the message did not go away - took it in and the DCT showed the code and it is the right rear shock valves are suck 'open'

Supposedly there are two new shocks in Chicago and they will have it by monday (hope) - but for now, my ride is set to firm and it is beating the hell out of me and the jeep ..

Just wanted to share my experience with the Service Adaptive Suspension message. Just picked up my SRT from the dealer. They ordered a new Control Module and a new left rear shock. They say the parts will be in in a day or so. I'll report back after they get everything installed and fixed.

This seems crazy. I have a 2014 with 14k miles.

I just got done dealing with this too. Same issue as everyone else. Service adaptive damping suspension message and firm ride. Dealer found broken clip holding the wiring for a rear shock, and a bad rear shock. New harness and new shock fixed it. '14 SRT Jeep with 21k miles.

I hope they gave you a loaner for those 7 days! I hope they get my parts in soon. Not really enjoying the ride of this thing at all and I've only had the vehicle for 6 days.

Nope, no loaner. I didn't push the issue though because I have another car to drive. And yes, the ride is definitely harsh when it's stuck in firm mode!
