Sorry, I responded before you posted the pictures. The wire that was unclipped like yours actually had damage to the wire from rubbing on the axle. It doesn't look like you have any visual damage but the wire could be damaged in some other way. Maybe how it is stretched...

I would have the dealer connect to see the readings from the system. From my dealers diagnostic they seem to be able to read proper/improper readings from each shock with values within a range. There is no reason you should continuously get that message. Take it in.

Am I the only one who had their car lowered in this thread? If so it makes me feel better it was not my lowering springs.

And yes to clarify- it has been over 4 months that I waited for shocks. I got them into my dealer on Friday and they go in on Wednesday. Don't allow them to tell you they are on back order. I waited 2.5 months before taking more action. Call SRT and open a case with them and call every day til your shocks are delivered. You can't tell me they are back ordered for 4 months when you are putting out new SRTs everyday for that 4 months. I believe they are getting more and more shocks in as of last week so hopefully you don't get screwed like I did.

Mine is not lowered. Only a week old. Going to the dealer on Thursday to check it out.

Also for the record on how mine feels driving. Both rear shocks are blown. Riding a horse consecutively for the last 4 months would have been more comfortable lol my friends who sit in the back seat would agree with me as well. Absolutely terrible lol.

Re: Message: Service Adaptive Damping Suspension System

I really focused on this today and it definitely feels different when I switch from Auto through to Track. I am confident that my ride quality is not compromised with this issue for me. Yours on the other hand Tom sounds like a bitch.

That's good. The first 2-3 weeks my alert message was on my car felt completely normal and acted the exact same. But after a road trip the rear shocks blew out and since then for 3 months it drove absolutely terribly in the rear just bouncing down the street. Get it checked out quickly to make sure it's not something they can fix before it gets worse. They swapped out my control module in the rear first too and that didn't work so they ordered a shock then 2 weeks later the shock blew. And got worse from there.

Re: Message: Service Adaptive Damping Suspension System

I was told by my dealer that there is some sort of control module unit in the steering wheel that may be causing the problem. Mine comes and goes now with every second start. Almost funny but not really.

Re: Message: Service Adaptive Damping Suspension System

I went to the service and found nothing wrong, after reporting the error was malfunctioning two days and gradually got better, now works fine, no more error appeared.
In the service, I was told that when the message reappears on the screen, leading the van immediately, to connect the computer and able to verify the error.

Re: Message: Service Adaptive Damping Suspension System

Dealer has ordered the steering wheel module and rear shocks to replace under warranty. Seeing I am in Sydney I wonder how long this will take.

Hi Cage, we seem to have exactly same problem. Mine comes and goes, it's funny you say now its stopped raining i'll go and have a look. Mine only seems to play up after we have had some rain, which it did again yesterday as it is pouring in central Queensland. What I have discovered though is if you unplug the wire connector that is closest to the shock, then put it back together, the message will clear. To do this , do it one at a time and check to see if message goes away.
