Need help with deciding on Winter tires!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone! I have a 2014 Black Jeep Cherokee SRT8... I live in Lloydminster Alberta, where there's some pretty bad winters = bad roads. I have the stock SRT rims and Pirelli tires now (summer) and need some winter tires... Went to a few places and they can get me in some black rims (replica of the older style SRT rims-starfish looking ones) and some Bridgestone Blizzacks... OR some Pirelli winter tires with black aluminum Tougen rims... I have NO idea which tires I should get. HELP!

If you live at all outside of well plowed roads AND studs are legal, see if you can
find a set of Nokian Hakka 7 SUV in your size.

World speed record on ice.

Pirelli - Ice and Snow + rims (knock off spider monkeys made in china) from dealer who got them from a regional tire company at cost; saved about $700 -800 in Calgary

i have pirelli ice and snows and you won't regret it, used them last winter and just put them on yesterday, can handle 4-6 inches on the road without a problem. haven't had more than that but hoping to have more snow this year to see if it can handle more!

Re: Need help with deciding on Winter tires!!!!!!!!!

I have a '14 with the goliath wheels, I put 275/45, Pirelli "winter" tires all around. 1010tires.com for $329 per tire. It's like a cat on carpet! I have driven over rogers pass BC through every condition possible without even the slightest slip. Pirelli has about 12 different winter tires, the "winter" was the least expensive. Super pleased with the performance.

I can echo what golfski and reddize are saying - I have 295/45/20 Pirelli Scorpion Ice/Snow and they're amazing. Highly suggest these. I used replica wk1 wheels, 20x10 for my winters.
